5:30 pm – Boat tour around the Grand Île, where is located the center of Strasbourg with its famous historic quarter La Petite France. The one hour tour follows the Ill river. We start close to the Cathedral of our Lady, then we cross La Petite France, the Imperial District with its monumental buildings from the late 19th century, and we end at the European district, close to the European parliament.




7:00 pm – Gala diner at Pavillon Joséphine, located in the city park l’Orangerie. There is a walk of 15 minutes from the European parliament to the Pavillon Joséphine. The diner will start with a convivial aperitif allowing you to taste Alsatian wines, with live music from a local band all along the evening.




  • Wednesday, June 28th

Visit of Riquewihr, a medieval city at the heart of Alsace
This event is organized as an extra to the conference. It will take place just after the conference closing ceremony at an extra cost of 70€ per person and will be limited to the first 50 persons who register for the visit.
Riquewihr is one hour bus drive from Strasbourg, at the edge of the Vosges mountains. The event includes a visit of an Alsatian cellar with wine tasting, before having a typical Alsatian diner.
